Do you think you do not have enough space in your home for an office ? Think again. There is one place you probably have not thought of yet. Your bedroom closet. Take a look at how you can make your closet into a home office here in this article.

1) Look around at all the closets in your house for the right one. What you are looking for is the closet that gets used less than all the other closets.

2) Clear out this closet and take out shelves up the height of six feet. This is to make room for an armoire. You can also use a workstation designed in a "tower" configuration. The trick is to stack the office vertically using the closet space. It is not as hard as you may think.

3) Use bins that are smaller than average office bins. This allows you to stack vertically instead of spreading out.

4) Use one rack to hold all the networking aspect of your home office. This includes the cable modem, printer, router, Uninterrupted Power Source ( UPS ) and speakers. Anything else electronic can go on this one rack also.

5) The desk or armoire will have a slide out shelf for your keyboard and mouse. You can design one other sliding shelf for things that need to be close at hand like paper and other related items.

6) If you install a rack at the seven foot level you have even more space for more stuff. You have room for sixteen small bins if you do this step. That is enough organization for more than one person.

Use your imagination and do not forget to " think vertical " when you are building your home office in your closet. One of the best features of this setup is the ability to close up everything when you are not using it. You can even install a lock on the closet doors when you do not want someone snooping around your "office". A regular home office does not have this benefit.
